6 Displays Available!
Seed Survivor is a free curriculum-based program that teaches elementary children about plants and the importance of agriculture. Multiple displays travel across North America year-round. Each year we plant sunflower seeds with approx. 100,000 students!
We now have 6 Seed Survivor displays: One large exhibit, two mobile classrooms and three community displays. At our displays, students explore multi-media and virtual reality games, a sunflower seed planting station, talking walls and much more. The content is perfect for grade 3 to 4 but all ages can have fun at Seed Survivor.
Seed Survivor was designed to teach youth that plants need water, light, healthy soil, and nutrients to survive.

2 Mobile Classrooms
Seed Survivor Mobile is a plant nutrient classroom on wheels! This truck and trailer unit arrives at pre-registered schools and children progress through interactive Seed Survivor stations.
Grades and Presentation Length:
We must have a minimum four classrooms or four hours of presentation time per day. No exceptions.
The content is based on grade 3 – 4 learning objectives and reading levels. We offer a one-hour presentation for this age group. If there is time to do additional grades, we offer grade 5 and 6 classrooms the opportunity for a one-hour presentation as well.
Younger grades K-2 are welcome as supplementary presentations to the other grades, but the presentation is short and sweet –
K-1: 20 minutes
Grade 2: 40 minutes
Please keep this in mind when creating your schedule.

“I think Seed Survivor was very beneficial because they came right to our door and made managing a field trip a little easier, the kids had a lot of fun, it was very interactive for them and it touched on all of the curriculum areas that I wanted to cover.”

“Thank you for bringing Seed Survivor to our school. We really enjoyed the games and planting our own seeds. Nutrition for Life was our favourite game. We learned that plants are like vacuums because they suck up all the nutrients and water from the soil. It was interesting to find out that soil is made from sand, silt, clay and organic matter.”
